Adrian over at ZDNET says that the key for consumers moving into 64-bit platform is by breaking the 4GB RAM barrier. Currently, Windows Vista 32-bit version can only read 3GB of RAM and the only way you could utilize a 4GB of RAM is by moving to 64-bit versions.
