Default Video and Audio lag in W7 64bit

self explanatory but to the specifics!
Nvidia GeForce 8800gts runing on w7 64bit driver from nvidia site
Creative Soundblaster Audigy Se *got driver for w7 from creative site but after w7 updated it by itself, the driver from the site is older then the one w7 got for it*
I tried some codex but they ended up making my media player not run my avi files so i tossed them.
Went threw device manager and uninstalled and reinstalled both the video card and sound card.
Tried changing my W7 theme from Aero to basic.

None of these things seem to have worked at all, any help would be great!

Hi

I have a Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum, and on the driver page there is an "Auto Update" feature.

It does not support Windows 7 (or Windows Vista) but it does support Windows XP.

Give it a try.

No, I did not mean downloading that driver, just the AutoUpdate.

The link is on the bottom of the driver page.
