taskbar at top of window

the machine is a hp g60, amd 64 x2, vista 32 premium, 2gb ram, 120gb hdd

the issue is that the taskbar found its way to the top of the dasktop window.
i dragged and dropped it to the bottom again.
this happened a few times but now it is firmly stuck at the top and i can't get it to come back down again.

Try holding down the shift key and drag it back to the bottom. Once it's there right click on it and click lock the taskbar and that should keep it from jumping back.

Just unlock the task bar by right clicking and un selecting "Lock the taskbar." Then just hold down on the task bar and drag the "ghost" image down to the bottom of the screen and let go. Right click and lock the task bar to keep it there.
