hi guys,i have a lexmark x11oo multifunction printer/scanner,i was using it on my xp pc,the driver disk has only xp drivers, when i formatted my xp to windows 7,it said that the drivers were no good,i tried to find drivers on net,but no success,the printer is 5 yrs old,but in perfect condition otherwise i would replace it,i hope someone can help me please,thank you ..........

Any chance you might find Vista drivers, Worf?

Don't know much about Win7 yet,but doesn't it a compatibility mode?

hi vger,i didn`t look if there were vista drivers as i thought that if i install the wrong system ones it might muck it up,& i have looked for the compatability mode,i cannot see it,i was hoping i didn`t have to scrap it !!!!!!!!!!!

My understanding of Win7 is that there is an XP Virtual, but it's not an emulator. It's more like having a system that has both a Win7 and an XP partition.

Vistra drivers should work for you in Win7.

If it's not working then you can't make it "not work" even more. It either will or it won't. There's a good chance the Vista drivers will though since 7 is Vista-based from what I've seen.
