well i am a bit confused about upgrading from xp to windows 7
can i keep my files stored in drives other than c:
also is it advisable to upgrade from xp to windows 7

Hello there,if you upgrade and do not do a full install you can keep all your files and settings.

Yes you can upgrade from XP.

Yes apparently you can run it.

But I have read you should use the latest version.

Yes it should run in DOS.

Although I am reading conflicting stories that it will run and it will not run.

Compatibilty mode has been sugested.

I am still checking this out,maybe others can input with further help.
