Post Random reboot in RC

I bought my new PC Build from TigerDirect.com, and pre-ordered Windows 7 HP from Amazon.com. My PC pasrt came last Saturday, and I asembled them, and installed my Windows 7 RC that I DL's back in June. Now, everytime I use it, the computer starts up, and works from five minutes to hour and a half, and randomly shuts down and reboots. I get no warning, the screen just goes black, I heard a single beep, and it begins startup again. Sometimes it tells me that Windows didn't close properly and to run it in Safe Mode, but most of the time it just starts up.
This happened before I connected my PC to the Internet, but I think after I installed the drivers for my Logitech Wave Keyboard. After I installed the keyboard drivers, it told me that they were incompatible with my version of Windows, so I attempted to remove them. I uninstalled them, and I no longer get a message telling me that they're incompatible upon startup, but I still randomly restart. I also have installed my graphics card drivers and AVG free Anti-Virus, as well as Wolfenstein to test out the actual computer.
The computer absolutely screwed up during my attempted instalation of Steam, and restarted several times before it managed to actually get to Windows. It also crashed during a download of Safari (my prefered Internet Browser). This is driving me insane, and although I posted this from my new PC, I wish it would stop doing this. Is it a Windows 7 - driver/software error, or is there a hardware component to this? I'll post my specs if they're needed.

Help, I'm banging my head against a wall here!

This may be because the RC has started shutting down like it said it would do before the full release of 7.

Did you completely wipe the previous OS with the 7RC because if you did you may have to reinstall your original OS.

I had an XP/7 dual boot on my laptop but removed 7 about 3 weeks ago before it started shutting down.

This is just a suggestion WDriesens as it may be something else entirely.

Wolfy, the RC of 7 was supposed to be fully functional for a year from first installation, not just until the release of the retail version. I'm still using it on one of my laptops and there have been no issues with it at all.

Yeah seems so Tealcat, I'm rubbish at remembering dates so ok let's have a look at the other angles.

I stand corrected all round.

Thanks mate.

March 1, 2010 begins the shutdown annoyance for W 7 RC regardless of when you install it. June is the drop dead month for 7.
