Hello violator009
In most cases, these messages are temporary or short-lived issues that are caused by very slight interruptions in communications between the computer that is being updated and the Windows update servers. These issues are generally self-healing. please exit the Windows Update ![]() Source: Article ID : 836941 Last Review : July 23, 2008 Revision : 23.0 <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836941/en-us> -=- Do a manual visit to Windows Update with Internet Explorer. [ Start > Windows Update or open IE, click Tools, Windows Update ] When the installations fail, close IE. This is the research that i found on the subject,i hope this helps. Also the manual update may be a work around until the issue clears up.
