I don't know if this is the right place to post my query but I've Visa OP, so I'm hoping I'm on the right track.
Problem:
When I logged onto my laptop yesterday, google came up and the whole screen started vibrating. The whole box?
I hit the home page icon again to refresh and it stopped, but on various web sites it started doing a jiigy dance again. I don't know if I've described it well enough, but it's beserk. You know when you used to see those annoying pop up ads for poker/porn/blah blah on IE in old days and they'd vibrate visually on the screen? Well, the whole browser window vibrates,.
I've got avast and I've also downloaded skybot today, I've got rid of lots of cookie/adware cr*p, but it's still - periodically (?) the same. I run on Firefox.
Also, tonight, Avast tells me there is a problem updating. I've tried to click link with that info but I get nowhere. A complete scan tonight revealed nothing.
Can anyone help? Please?

Thats G's skim reading for ya
You do get some websites that have scripts to allow the webmaster to make this happen but google doesnt do this. Does it happen on any other websites? |

Thanks rodent - When i'm at work - i only have time enough to skim over posts otherwise i won't get any work done...
This is a common problem with firefox believe it or not. View -> Toolbars -> Bookmarks Toolbar (make sure it's not on).

Funny enough, my bookmarks were deleted as soon as the vibrating problem started. I've managed to find a solution to get the bookmarks back though. Again, thanks very much for your help. Last edited by brightside; 02-27-2007 at 10:53 PM. |

No problems at all brightside.
This issue is generally put down to the theme that you are using- i had the same problem with the default theme. Was pretty hard to track the problem down. Marked as Fixed.
