Madgamer - nice contribution BUT can you not hot link those images from Windows re-install. Either create them yourself or host them and link them from somewhere else, thank you.

Default Re: [Tutorial] How to perform a repair install of Windows XP

NTLDR is missing I think a reformat is in order but you need to use boot disks first.you need 6 floppy disks cleanly formatted. download one of the following and save to computer.then open the file and insert 1st floppy disk(number the disks 1-6)press enter you will be promted for the next disk as so on.some floppy disks can be a little faulty.so when you are using the floppys to start your format if any show up as corrupt or damged you will have to swap the floppy and restart the making of boot disk.
xp home boot disk for floppy install.

Download details: Windows XP Home Edition Utility: Setup Disks for Floppy Boot Install

xp pro boot disk install

Download details: Windows XP Professional Utility: Setup Disks for Floppy Boot Install

now reboot the corrupt pc and go to bios and set first boot device to floppy disk drive, insert number 1 floppy press F10 save and exit. The computer will promt for next disk and so on.Then you will be promted for the xp reinstall disk at some point then popin the disk and format as usal.I hope this helps?

And you have totaly confused the whole issue of NTLDR is missing the boot disk is the fix, plus a few links would of been a lot easier for people to follow.NOT all that you posted.
