Default Your PC randomly reboots?

By default XP is set to restart at a serious system failure, sometimes causing the system to be caught in an infinite [and annoying] loop.

Change the default setting now before you need to by;

Clicking Start>Control Panel>System.

Click the Advanced tab.

Click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery.

Remove the tick from the box next to Automatically Restart under System Failure.

Click OK.

The next time you have a serious system failure rather than reboot, your PC should present you with a blue screen of death[!] with an error message.

By starting a new post and posting the error message on PC Help Forum, the fault can be more easily determined and the remedy found.
