Stupid Hewlett Packard, I also only have recovery CD's, 5 of them. I can't believe they didn't ship my PC with an original install disc. It takes me a life time to re-install windows, and when I do, I have all the unnecessary junk that I don't want. On my recovery CD's, I have i386 folders on all of them I think. And disc 1 and disc 5 have i386 folders in excess of 500MB in size. I'm fairly sure that there is a way to create a XP CD from these discs, I found something on the net a while ago that may have helped me, but lost it now.

If anyone has any solutions, I would be extremely grateful.
