Basically, I posted this in the Windows XP/2000 Tips and Tricks section. A friend came round and said I should post it here. So I decided to. He also came up with a name o fThe Lazy Start Menu. Well, here it is:

If you are tired of having to open the Start menu all the time, just create a Links toolbar. Easy! Just:
1. Go into your hard drive and make a folder called Links. Open that folder and keep it that way.
2. Go into your Start Menu, go to each thing you want on the toolbar and drag the files into the toolbar WITH YOUR RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON.Click Copy Here.
3. Once you have done that with all the files, right click on the Taskbar and click Toolbars. Click New Toolbar.
4. Find the Links folder and click OK.
5. There should now be a Links toolbar on your desktop!
