Oy,

As far as I've been able to tell with Windows, you can only go up versions, not down

Hi Javid, there is a method that could POSSIBLY work..and this is a giant possiblity.

You'll need 2 servers to do it, and it's apparantly extremely tricky - i've never done it personally, but a mate of mine at work has. It's called a "Swing Migration"

The biggest problem you'll face is having SBS on a network with another Domain Controller...it just doesn't work...so the Swing Migration gets around this...I'm not sure of the specifics...but you'd be able to find all sorts of information now that you have a possible method

Hello Javid,

It depends on what you have running the enterprise server. Is it a DC? Does it have exchange running? SQL? It would be fairly straight forward to migrate everything over to another server running SBS and then perform a cut-over as long as all components are at a small enough scale for SBS. I would suggest backing up all the components and starting the server from scratch. If the server is a DC you will need special tools from backing up AD unless there are other DC's in the environment.
