It's the original Microsoft Windows installation CD.

Hi all! I finally gave up and bought a 21-in-1 card reader, thereby bypassing any need to download software from the camera.

I just plugged it in, put my disk in, transferred the pix over to My Documents file, and there they were!

It only took one extra trip to Office Max to have them show me how to insert those tiny little disks in the reader. :-(

Thanks for the help, though! I can't wait to ditch this old geezer of a computer. I soooo want a new laptop/notebook. I don't know whether to get Win2000 again, though. It seems to have more than its share of incompatibility problems.

Thank you for the update Sam

I hope you get a new system sooner rather than later!

Hi Hengis - me too!

What part of this forum should I go to for help in deciding on a good laptop? My brain is already reeling from the thought of wading through the choices out there. I want to just twitch my nose and have the perfect computer appear!!

Hi Sam(antha)

I highly recommend Dell and Toshiba laptops.

They're good and just work

for Dell, Find a Notebook, Desktop, Server, Printer, Software, Service, Monitor or TV at Dell. - if it's anything like Australia, they give online specials all the time.

Toshiba - different story, you'll have to find someon to supply that for you.
