Default [Pending] Terminal Server Drop down Menus

Hi

I have a Windows 2003 Server running Terminal Services.
When working in a Terminal Session trying to save a document, the drop down box that you use to select the save location keeps closing itself instantly causing me being unable to select where I want to save my work. It's almost like the save as dialog box is refreshing itself after a couple of seconds.
Now I can use the Up button to get to "My Computer" and select it from the main window which I dont mind doing but all the other users are getting frustrated,

I have tried disconnecting all the network drives but this doesn't help.
This also happens when trying to open a document.

If you try to this from the actual server the problem does not happen also it does not happen in Microsoft Office applications. I am mainly having the problem in Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat and Images.

I have done extensive searches on the Internet and haven't found any solutions.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Munkeyr,

Welcome to PCHF. I am so terribly sorry for the delay in answering your post. We have a wonderful team of techs here and I feel certain that we will be able to help you resolve this issue.

My first inclination is to check for malware. The behavior you are describing sound very much like an infection. What anti malware utilities are you running?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
