When I go to certain sites the internet browser keeps closing on that particular site. I've tried the site with Internet Explorer 6 and 7 beta 2. Then again in Firefox. All the browsers have the same problem. Then there's the issue of how my downloading speeds have gone down to nothing. I have DSL, but the downloading speeds seem liek that of a dial up anymore. I don't know if I may have deleted something when trying to get rid of a trojan/virus/spyware problem about a month or so ago. If anyone can help or needs more information I'll be happy to oblige.

There's one program to make the whole diagnosis easier.

Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Get HijackThis!, run a scan, and post the results. It sounds like you have some nasty stuff stealing your bandwidth, and the browser closing issue could be either a side effect of something, or a purposeful annoyance. Either way, post up the results, we'll kill some stuff for ya :P
