Hi there,
I hope you can help.
Is there any way that I can cut down on the number of processes that are running on my computer? At the moment I am on a grand total of 68 which is obviously slowing it right down. I'm a bit techno illiterate so not sure if you need any more info than this. I'm working on Windows 2000, service pack 4. Intel Pentium with 654,352 kb RAM. It has 37.2 GB capacity (28 GB is used).

If you could please click on the Prework link in my signature and follow any instructions related to Hijack This we could take a look at the running processes.

If you would prefer, you could follow the whole process and we'll take a look at the logs and see if there's anything that needs to be fixed...ounce of prevention so to speak.
