Default Auto Run Quit

After installing new motherboard and DVD drive, cannot get auto run to work on either of 2 CD/DVD drives. Using Win2000 SP4 (build 2195) and a Gigabyte 8191 5P Duo with the very latest drivers. The drives are NEC DVD_RW ND-3550A, and AOpen DVD-1640 PRO. Auto Run does not work when I insert a disk, and clicking Auto Run on the disk does not work either.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Default Fix didn't work.

Hi joe5. Tried it, didn't work on either drive. Same message for both: "either the device is malfunctioning or this program cannor fix it." (Not an exact quote.) Strange that both an old and a new device have the same problem. Thanks for trying!
