Default Internet Printing

Hi guys
I've installed IIS 6.0 onto my Server 2003 and tried to install Internet Printing from the sub menu of IIS as well. The Internet Printing option is only showing as a size of 0.0mb and although it lets me go through selecting and installing it, i cannot see it running anywhere and when i try to print with http : \\ servername \ printers it just comes up with page not found.
I've been told that i need to enable it in web extensions on IIS but again it is not listed.
Can anyone shed any light on what i'm missing?

Many Thanks

Ian

p.s. I also have a pc running XP Pro through a Safecom router to my server if this is needed information.

It's set up as a domain controller. I've also added the DC to the trusted list on it's own security settings but it still comes up with page not found. Should internet printing be one of the options on web extensions unders iis if it is installed?

It's been allowed and i'm running on admin login so all should be fine. The thing i'm concerned about is that it doen't show in IIS under any services that are allowed or prohibited
