Dam if it was fat32 we could have done it another way. The easy way to transfer settings and files is with the transfer wizzard so when you get the new drive plug in as slave and when in XP format the drive as fat32 then create a folder and use trasfer wiz to collect your data and store it in the new drive once done shut down remove xp drive set new one as master boot it up install windows 98 don't format the drive(we already did in xp and we need your data) then install xp like mentioned earlier on install XP use transfer wiz to put your data back. You will need to reinstall all programs and drivers though

Actually, I have to say that it most likelly will NOT work.
Yes, you most likelly will be able to get a configuration working where you can run 2 OS's next to eachother, but I doubt that Windows 98 SE will actually work well. If your PC is a bit new (I figure this since you're running XP SP3 on it) You will get timing issues and alot of BSoD's. It will be easier to create a bootdisk (can be a CD-Rom, cus thats what I did) with ramdrive to boot directly to DOS. That'll allow you to play those old DOS games. The ones that run under Win98 will also run under XP.
