Default Re: pc camera hell

Hi jerrylee32 - Welcome to PCHF!!

What is the exact avicap error message you are receiving? It could be that your avicap.dll file is in the wrong place.

You should have a avicap.dll in the following 3 folders:

C:\windows\system
C:\windows\system32
C:\windows\system32\dllcache

To check click Start > Search > All Files and Folder
In All or part of the filename type: avicap
Click down arrow at Look in - click browse
Click My Computer > Local Disk C: > Windows > Click OK > Click Search

When its finished searching if you don't have avicap in all of the locations listed above, then copy and paste the file into the required folders. Please post back if this doesn't help.
