Red face [Fixed] inet error on page

Hi, I am running 98SE (dinosaur, I know), but when I get on the internet I get a lot of "done but with error on page" or "error on page" at the bottom of my screen..doesn't seem to matter what site I get into..and I have noticed that the computer is SLOWER than usual when this happens...what's going on? (I am not a computer literate person either, so keep that in mind please)...Thanks much...

Thanks Hengis, I finally got Java to download and it seems to have helped/solved. I haven't noticed those error messages since. You have been great. Thanks again...
