Here are my laptop specs:

Windows ME
Toshiba Satellite Laptop
Pentium III
128 MB of RAM

It's a piece of ****, but that's irrelevant. My issue is that one day it froze while installing a program, and I was forced to manually shut it off mid instalation. When I started it up, it went to safe mode and now I can't get it off of 16 color and 600x800. When I go into my control panel and change the settings back to the way it was, it says I need to restart the computer in order for the settings to take effect. When it boots back up, nothing has changed, and I'm stuck like this.

Anyone know how I can fix this? I do not have the original ME disk, nor do I have the money to get XP, Vista, or a new laptop altogether.

HI welcome to PCHF go into device manager and uninstall every thing under Display Adapters Reboot the PC it reinstall the driver automaticly. If that won't work post the model number of the lapto and we should be able to find a graphics download for it.
