Default Programs opening with the wrong file\folder
I have a windows ME system as a backup to my xp. My programs are opening through weird programs. Ex. DirectX opens through notepad. I know there are more but can't think of them right now. Any help out there? Also, my IE won't launch from shortcuts or any thing, I have to go to my computer and type in addresses from there. Thank you in advance for your help.

Looks like you'll need to re-associate those files with the correct applications;

I know how to get in to change them but not sure what to change them to. I don't have a restore option either. Any other options? Thanks.
