NOOOOO. Dont use ME. It is the worst version of Windows EVer. I have never seen one that worked.

hehehe, yeah we been talking about this. When I got my copy, I took the CD outside, burnt it and then danced around it naked, chanting in some strange voodoo dialect... I'm not sure what came over me lol.

Anyhoo, I'm not sure if you'll find ME generic drivers much better, but I guess you probably don't have much to lose. If I was in your shoes, I would probably go down a grade or two and get a card that does support 9x, for example the NVidia Geforce 6 series cards all support 9x, and you could pickup a 6600 for example from e-bay for around £20/$40, and sell the one you currently have.

I dunno, I still have my 6600 and runs perfect for games like BF2. Runs Crysis quite happily, obviously in DX9 and low/medium graphics quality.

Or what about two PC's. One running XP with a Radeon x1650 and the other cheap PC running that old card and Windows 98. You could use a KVM switch if you wanted to run them both from a single monitor, mouse and keyboard. A little more cash, but I just thought I'd help with some idea's.
