To me, XP has been sort of a failure, just because of my Wireless card. I'm pretty sure my wireless card is just about shot, it drops a connection in XP all the time, no matter what drivers i have installed, latest or otherwise.

Windows 2000 is where I always stay at, then if I dont feel like 2000, then ill normally switch over to 9x, which is why i really wanna get this card working with 9x.
I've always liked 9x.

Did you find that "Radeon Series" driver after?
i'll search for that again, last time I installed it i dont recall seeing one called Radeon Series, but ill check again.

In that case, not very much. What were you hoping to do (graphically speaking) with that card on 9x?

There are generic Windows drivers that you may be able to use, but they won't give you much. The only alternative if you were hoping to play games on that card, is to get hold of one that does have a 9x driver written for it?

Not much, If i could just get 32 bit color under 1280x1024 id be set.
I wouldnt really do any gaming, the only gaming i do really are some old games, like AOE 2.
And ill play Half Life 2 from time to time.
All i want is something better than 16 colors under 640x480 >.<
Like i said, id be great just to get 1280x1024 with 32 bit color, thats all i really want.
All id use it for is IM, Internet browsing, ect ect.

haha well, there is one other thing i can do
i didnt want to resort to it because itd be annoying.
but i do have a PCI graphics card, i think like a Permedia 2 8MB card
and i KNOW thats supported in 98/ME.
would you recommend i just give up the ghost and try that card?
cause i know it supports 1280x1024 at 32 bit, but thats just the max

Hmm, still not sure you would be able to play the games you want with an 8mb card, but you'll get more out of a card using the correct drivers than you would with the basic generic drivers. Like you said you know you'll get 1280x1024 at 32bit which is a cert. How about I get hold of that list, install that generic driver, and then you can decide if you want to keep it? or in the meantime, I could try and talk you through where to look for them (from the top of my head)?
