If possible you might want to install XP on your computer, ME is prob. the worst MS Operating System ever

has lasted 5 years with teenagers on it the last 3. i know everyone says this but i beg to differ. i have xp and vista and although ME is a step down in performance it is a reliable os as long as you know how to format and reinstall ha ha.besides the ME machine without major upgrades will not support xp.thanks for the advise but i need to install this hd i just need to know how to format the xp 120 to work in the older computer. i want to wipe it and possibly install or use as slave .

Hi I would say windows ME is in fat32 format and the XP drive is in NTFS and it can't see the drive because of that you will need to fdisk the second drive and repartiton it and format it in fat32 so ME will see it.

PS ME is the worst O/S ever released you must be very lucky to have had a good experiance with it

My ME experience wasn't bad either, I just got tired of it's off-ishness sometimes
Anyway, madmatt's idea sounds correct
