try to scan your registry, and see if your PC contains any errors.

You can scan your registry for free from HERE

you will need to download the installer and run it.

let us know of the progress
Well faraz this completely screwed up my computer, now when I start it up it goes to Microsoft Registry Checker. After 20 minutes of running it's check I get an error message which says the following;
"Registry Repair Results"
Windows found an error in your system files and was unable to fix it. Try deleting some files to free up disk space on your windows drive. If that doesn't work you need to install Windows to a new directory.
This has me completely lost

this is not supposed to happen.

how much free space do you have in your windows partition?

also did you create a restore point as cowburn suggested befor running the scan??

As my original question stated I know very little about computers so I have no idea what a windows partition is or how to check for free space and no I didn't create a restore point because I had allready done what you had told me to do with running a scan

ok to check for free space right click on your partition in which your windows is installed.

this is usually the drice C:\ in My computer.

right click on it and then click properties, it will tell you of the free space and total space.

if it is very low on free space try deleting files you dont need or try un installing applications that you no longer use.

let me know of your free space. i'll be waiting
