Angry Old laptop

hey guys i have this old laptop(Toshiba 4000cs i think) and i reformated it ok. so then i booted it up again with the windows 98 disc in it and the pc dosent want to recognize the drive so do i need like a boot disc or something? could someone plz help?

PS. it says Please Insert A System Disc, Then Press Any Key When Ready.

Hi Lars, yes you need a floppy boot disk in there to load dos first, to enable you to start the c:\setup.exe file and process.

Grab a WIndows 98 boot disk from our link partner: Bootdisk.Com

hi i got all the way to where i access the drive of the cd and type setup.exe it says checking registry but then i get a message saying setup requires 73. what is that. and can i fix it?
