I've just removed IE 6 from Windows ME because I've had enough of some of the problems it was causing on this system, it quite clearly was not compatible. Things are running like a dream now, only IE 5.5 (what ME shipped with) doesn't submit forms, even google doesn't work, and yes I've already checked scripting and all that. Any ideas? Thanks.

It’s ok, I’ve solved the problem now, although it was rather a lengthy process which involved reinstalling IE6 and removing it again! The first time I removed it the computer crashed during the process when it says “Updating Sytem Settings”, and I think it might somehow be related to that. Fortunately, it did not repeat the same error upon removal of IE6 the second time around and everything is fine now.
