Unhappy [Resolved] ME connection help

my aunt gave us a Sony Vaio Pc pcv-j150, its ME edition 10GB, 312 MB RAM

Everything works fine altough kinda slow but here's the problem..
I tried to put the dsl there so it has internet then later on put router so this pc(windows 2000) and a laptop could use the internet.

I tried putting it there but there's still no intrernet, i called my isp [at&t]
in conclusion the tech support said it doesn't have local area connection.

I know that it can connect to internet.
I don't know what to do.

Last Message:
We decided to buy a wireless card for it and just get wireless connection through this desktop[im using it right now] and if it doesn't work we'll just reformat it and install XP.

That's all for now. Please close this.

Alright, just keep in mind to purchase a legal copy of XP for it, and you may need to upgrade the RAM to run smoothly in XP. 512MB, your PC's maximum, is recommended. That, means to buy 2 of these:

Newegg.com - Kingston 256MB 168-Pin SDRAM PC 133 Desktop Memory - Retail

XP will work without it, but it will make a huge difference if you replace your current RAM with 2 of those...

Thread marked as resolved.
