I have Windows 98 SE. I have a Memorex Flash Drive. Problem: The install creates a folder, but nothing's in it.

The install runs, but nothing's in the folder it creates. I want to use my flash drive.

I think the biggest problem is the fact that you're running Windows 98. It has notoriously horrible support for USB devices.

Yay! I got it to work; but I wish I knew how. I have 2 other Win98 computers. All I did was run both installs many times, alternating between the two.

I agree that Windows 98 has horrible support for USB devices. It's pointless. Once the driver is installed, everything works fine. Other than that, used old computers fit well in any budget (except Microsoft's). Maybe someday those salesmen will have to use a computer. "Porn browsing works fine. What more could anyone ever need?"
