Default New M E

As my computer came with Windows ME, is there anyway that I can reinstall Windows ME through the net? I have the ID number that is stuck on the side, with it's badge to show it is the real thing of Mocrosoft.

In one word no.

01: You do not say if its a Dell or HP with a hidden partion with the recovery software on it.

02: If you have lost the OS disk you will have to purchase a new one...

Sorry about that, it is a Packard Bell and it was partitioned. How can I tell if I have the software still on it?

Hi, so you want to know if any software still exists on the hard drive? Grab a bootdisk from our link partner bootdisk.com. Boot up into dos and then, when you get to the A:\ prompt, type c: (and then enter). Then, at the C: prompt, type dir /w (and then enter). Do you have any files or folders coming up in the list? If so..what ?
