Windows ME: Good luck. I have only known one person who says that his computer is perfect with ME, but I really question whether or not he knew what he was doing.

Mine runs flawlessly, it's the OS that was on the old HD and with the exception of "Standby" I have no problems with it. I don't use internet on my laptop except for maybe 5 min/mo at most, I usually don't even have my cisco card in it. Anyway, thanks for the help guys

Default just a reminder from someone with ME
create a norton back-up disk or back up on an external Hard drive (norton ghost 3 works best in ME) drivers in ME just fall apart after about 3-4 months Very unstable OS!!!!

Post back if it starts to fall apart. I got ME from someone who didn't want it anymore, and it was awesome for about two weeks. Then on the third week, I couldn't stand it anymore. Going back to Win 98 was like getting a new computer.
