Hi Madmonkey. How slow is slow? Do you mean as slow as it is right now or will it be faster at all. Not really that bad now. I have cable and that is the fastest server we have here in the states. I do not need real real fast as only play some games like POGO and MSN and do some photos but wanted something a bit faster and that was not so unpredictable. This gets stuck all the time. Freezes. Acts crazy. Drives me nuts. Anyways, do you think it is worth doing it in your personal opinion? Thanks, Sue

Hi Sue, yep your right 98 is very buggy compared to XP. You will find a difference in stability, but it will be slower. Not awfully slower but you will notice a difference. XP requires more resources and 98 does to run. The BA200 is old technology now, and you'll find that you will have problems even getting parts for it these days if it does go wrong. If you haven't bought Windows XP yet, maybe it may be worth saving your money for a new PC that comes with XP preinstalled. They are real cheap these days especially if your not a gamer, you could probably pick one up from Dell for about $400-$500. Otherwise I would probably sacrifice speed for stability any day!

Thanks so much Madmonkey and everyone for your help! I appreciate it so much. Will probably just go ahead and wait on this as no sense spending the money for the xp cd if too slow. Thanks again everybody for all your help. I have a website that is really crappy right now but working on it. It is on FREE affiliate sites and FREE anything site that is credible. It was my first attempt at website building and is getting some traffic. I am trying to make it nice and doing it slowly. I run Google Adsense ads on it too. I will happily add a link to you from my website if you want me too as a thank you. Your website is great and sure you appreciate the visitors. I also have enjoyed many of your Google ads on this site and will continue to. Wish I was in England so very much. T'is my dream to go to your country. Maybe some day. Stay SAFE and take care. Sue

I just sent you a payment via Paypal as a thank you in US funds. I have not yet received a confirmation on this so wondering if you have received it? I have checked several times in my email and Paypal and nothing showing yet but I did make the payment and put in my password and it confirmed so not sure if it takes some time or what? Thanks!

Hey Sue - kind words, thank you very much. I'm sure Hengis (the site founder) will thank you himself shorty. If you need any help at all with your web site also, we have all sorts of talent her that can help you, and you are most welcome.

Wink Hello and thanks again

Thanks. It went thru so that was good. Just woke up and thought would check out some computer prices. Yeck! Not sure why they are not going down now that the new VISTA is appearing everywhere. Would think the computers with xp would come down but does not seem to be. Oh well, this one works so not the end of the world with it until something comes up cheaper. Thanks again for all your wonderful help. This is such a great site and you folks are wonderful. Enjoy your Sunday. Sue
