rick30062001 iam trying to install win 98se but when i get to the a:\ promt and when i type setup c: or anything else it tells not ready reading drive D it seems like no matter how i try to install 98se it says the same thing HELP PLEASE PLEASE

Have a look at what dear old Microsoft have to say on this here;
How to Install Windows 98 on a Computer with No Operating System

Also make sure you have the 98SE boot disk that came with the CD or obtain one from;
Bootdisk.Com
Make sure the boot disk has a Ramdrive incorporated.
