I cannot see why you would want me to go into the intricacies of making a boot disk from a 98 disk when you can just go to bootdisk.com and get one ready made.

Me either Wolfeymole, the bootdisk.com disks work well, and if they didnt work, making one yourself probably wont work either. You probably have something else wrong. That is if the bootdisk was properly made. But you can do what you are talking about. Here are the files youll need to copy to the floppy from your 98 disk:

aspi2dos.sys aspi4dos.sys aspi8dos.sys
aspicd.sys autoexec.bat bootlog.txt
btcdrom.sys btdosm.sys command.com
config.sys drvspace.bin ebd.cab
ebd.sys extract.sys fdisk.exe
findramd.exe flashpt.sys himem.sys
lo.sys msdos.sys oakcdrom.sys
ramdrive.sys readme.txt setram.bat
They are scattered all over the disk, so make a pot of coffee, grab a 6pak, or whatever, and happy hunting. You can probably do without a few of these, but this is whats on one made from a working 98 system.

Say what in the first place? I just now (like within the last 30 minutes) had access to a PC with 98 on it.

Or the fact that the bootdisk.com didnt help?

"I found bootdisk.com but that didnt help either." <----first post.

Did i miss something?

Its fixed now so whatever, close the thread.

bootdisk.com have been operating more years than I care to remember and if you have got a bootdisk from them that does not work then I would look at the condition of the disk not the download.
