Me either Wolfeymole, the bootdisk.com disks work well, and if they didnt work, making one yourself probably wont work either. You probably have something else wrong. That is if the bootdisk was properly made. But you can do what you are talking about. Here are the files youll need to copy to the floppy from your 98 disk:
aspi2dos.sys aspi4dos.sys aspi8dos.sys
aspicd.sys autoexec.bat bootlog.txt
btcdrom.sys btdosm.sys command.com
config.sys drvspace.bin ebd.cab
ebd.sys extract.sys fdisk.exe
findramd.exe flashpt.sys himem.sys
lo.sys msdos.sys oakcdrom.sys
ramdrive.sys readme.txt setram.bat
They are scattered all over the disk, so make a pot of coffee, grab a 6pak, or whatever, and happy hunting. You can probably do without a few of these, but this is whats on one made from a working 98 system.
