I have a D: drive on my ME computer. I have however some how deleted it. When I go on My Computer the D: no longer appears meaning I can't load discs at all. How do I rectify the problem?

My welcome to PCHF darren!

If you go into device manager via Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. Under DVD/CDROM drives is there any drives listed. If there is are any exclamation marks next to it. If there is then double click the drive name in device manager (if present) and quote the Device Status in your next reply.

So with your next reply, please tell us:
  • Whether it is present in device manager.
  • Any exclamation marks etc?
  • Device Status.
Looking forward to you next reply.
