Angry [Answered] Unwanted Hibernation!!!!

My computer keeps going into stand by mode after 10 min. of inactivity.

Now my monitor is burnt out after turning on and off many times.

I tried to fix this before: I go to my control panal to power control and there is nothing that is configured to make the computer act like this. So I do scandisk in msdos and the problem is fixed.

Now it's back and my monitor is a goner.

What now? Scandisk in msdos is of no help anymore.

Hey toxicvarn90!
My welcome to PC Helpforum!

Not sure if I'm telling you something you've already tried, but here it goes:

Right-click your desktop, and click Properties.
On the Screensaver tab, there's a button 'Energy...'
You can change settings here. Make sure you check all the schemes on hibernating.

Blue
