Default [Resolved] Will Win 98 Setup delete user files???

Hi,

I have a seriously ill puter that won't even boot into safe mode. It runs Win ME. I have NO user backup. I have gotten it to where I can do a Windows 98 Setup install from the CD drive of a booting situation.

Will this delete my user files?

Any help will be appreciated.....THX!!

But, it doesnt always work, and i dont think itll work at all over the top of ME, you may lose all your data. I would definately back up everything before i tried it. Have a look here for more info:
