Default [Resolved] unwanted dial-up

Since downloading the last "critical update" for Windows ME, my system keeps wanting to dial-up every time I startup the system, or in many cases when I right click on the mouse.

With my limited knowledge, I have gone through the startup menu and most of the apps I have and can find no obvoius cause.

Could someone offer a possible cause and how to correct it???

Thanks

Hya Gawdmd, welcome to PCHF.

Do you know wich update that was exactly? But it sounds more like a malware problem though, if you click on the 'Prework' link below in my sig, follow those instructions and post the Ewido and Hijackthis logs then we'll look for that first.
