Default [Resolved] Computer doesn't have enough power

how do I check the power output of my pc and whether it is enough?
I'm currently at work right now so I can't give my PC specs offhand

I got a nvidia Geforce 6600 a few months back. Initially it gave me the not enough power message so dismantled my CPU again and plugged the 4-pin power cable into my 6600 graphic card and it has enough power...

BUT!

Everything else runs comparatively slower than before (everything else that needs the 4-pin connector like my CD-Rom drive and Harddisk). Is there anyway to check if there is enough power and could someone please advice how, or how can i get more power for my pc?

The specs are *roughly*:

2.4Gh Processor
512mb Ram
40gb HDD
NVidia 6600 graphics card
Win ME

Okay I did what you asked me to... but I don't know what reading is it you need. So what I did was I took 2 screenshots (the temp. readings are alternating between these 2 very frequently, every 10-20 seconds)

By the way, thank you very much for offering help.

I don't know how to get it linked up but I'll try..

Edit: I don't know how to get the image to come out, the hyperlink will have to do for now... apologies

I surfed around a while, like 5 minutes and it changed to:

That doesn't look quite right, it shouldn't display so many temps. Try this one:

.:: MBM 5 HomeSite ::. Screen 1024x768 (Site Design by Claes / 3D-EGS)

Let's see what that says, and also have a look inside your case to see if all the fans still work and aren't glogged up with dust.

You didn't specify where or what readings you need so I just made a wild guess at the temperature readings.

I'm getting confused with all the programs and terms and jargons..

Please help, and once again, thank you for offering assistance
