There is something strange going on there, Speedfan says the 3.3v is pretty much ok but according to mbm5 it is not even 2v.. And those phantom temps and api errors don't make it any clearer..


Do you have access to an other powersupply to test with?

What do you mean by another powersupply? Another adapter, or wall socket, or the CPU power box? I'm not sure what you meant, could you clarify please?

Unfortunately I don't, and the last I knew, obtaining one would cost at least SGD$50 (which is pretty expensive considering one can get a CPU case with the power box for around SGD$100 +/-)

Any other way or solution?

Hey I hope you're still around, I have something to ask:

I checked my power box and noticed it has a voltage of 215W. Looking at hardwarezone.com, it looks like a pathetic voltage compared to the PSU's available now.

My questions are:
1) what voltage should I upgrade to? (I am thinking of an affordable 300W/350W to at best 400W)
2) if I get a higher erm. Wattage? Will it blow up from overload, too high voltage etc. Please get back to me soon so I can start sourcing for PSUs

Nah, you can never have to many Watt's. But for your system a 350w should do just fine.

And 215w is indeed very very low.
