Hey Chris,

I can certainly understand that. Let me check with the site owner. Although we are in the process of moving servers, so that might not work.

There are free online sharing services, like http://www.easy-sharing.com/, see what you think.

Looking forward to your reply,

Ok, I zipped then uploaded the file. the program is xu2000, the pos that you would upload is su_06 everything else from my understanding is what is needed to make it boot off of a floppy correctly. Here is the link. http://www.easy-sharing.com/548236/boot+xu2000.zip.html

I'm not sure! LOL. I put the word out to the staff, and I know it's been downloaded a couple of times, but nobody's said anything yet.

I'm actually waiting on a new HDD for my laptop, that I will be installing 98 on, and then upgrading to XP. I was considering doing a dual boot, to see if I could play around with your proggie. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong HDD and I am now waiting on the replacent.

So, short story long, lol. As far as My being able to play around with it, I haven't yet. Have you tried my suggestions on the dual boot yet? Have you checked out the PCI serial ports? My thought is that if you have a serial port, PCI or otherwise, along with a DOS based Windows installed, you will have a better shot at getting the port recognized by the program.

Looking forward to your reply,

The only problem with me doing dual boot is that this is my personal laptop, and I have alot to lose if I uninstall windows and redo the partiontioning. I have not yet tried the pcmcia serial cards yet. I would still need to find a way to make the card work in dos. So I wasn't sure if that investment would be worth it either seeing as it's more expensive.
