Default [Resolved] CD-ROm Not Valid

I downloaded the win98 se bootdisk and ran it from the floppy drive. During the setup the message below came across the screen.

Device mscd001
No Drives Found, aborting installation

It also states that my config.sys file is missing or corrupt.

What gives, and what do I do next?

Thanks,

Ron

Hey rcox357!
My welcome to PC Helpforum!

Where have you downloaded the Win98SE bootdisk?

Also, are you sure your floppy is OK? (It might be worth trying another floppy).
What drives are in that computer?

Blue
