Default [Resolved] How to start up to Win98?

Hi All,

I have posted in another thread that i wanted to add on another hard drive to my HP PC. However checking with the Hp website they required me to format the slave drive, i did not go thru with it which i will lose all my contents in it.

After all the tinkering, now on pressing the start button, the screen will show either pressing F1 or F2, instead of showing window 98.

F1 goes to bios and F2 goes to window 98.

How do i set it to go straight into windows 98, as it had originally, instead of going thru the above steps?

cheers

howdy lattner and welcome to the ofrums, seems like your post got lost in the web. The staff likes to answer questions as quicky as they can sorry bout that.

When you pres F1 to go into your BIOS can you go to your Boot order and see if your 98 drive is set to boot up or cd-rom or floppy is set to boot up and make sure there are no floppies or cd's in the drives and press F10 click yes then reboot.
