Default [Resolved] Boot disk
I have a web address which will enable me to download a boot disk to assist a friend to install windows ME on his computer. However, my computer does not have a floppy disk drive. Can I download a boot disk on to a compact disk? I would appreciate help on this problem.

@Joe 5: I would recommand a Win98SE bootdisk. I have bad experiences with ME as with the bootdisks of ME...

I have downloaded a boot disk and it will not solve the problem. I have a complication in that when I try to boot up, I get error messages which will not allow me to do anything as I get blue screen and mouse/keyboard fail to function. I could give you the details of the errors which are long winded. If you dont mind me describing them please let me know. Thanks

Yup , please post the error codes , and also file names if they are mentioned please.

And any idea how this problem started? It doesn't boot at all , also not in safemode?
