Windows 95, 98 & ME - [Resolved] - Win 98 driver deletion posted in the Operating Systems forums; How do you delete a driver in Win. 98? or... better yet... if you accidently changed the resolution too high now the screen goes black how would you fix it?...

How do you delete a driver in Win. 98?

or... better yet... if you accidently changed the resolution too high now the screen goes black how would you fix it?

Hey there raytray25

The only way to delete a driver is possibly by using the Device manager or Add/Remove programs.
or... better yet... if you accidently changed the resolution too high now the screen goes black how would you fix it?
Best thing to do is boot into safemode and open your display properties, change the resolution in the to something like 640x480, save changes and restart the machine.
Once you get into normal windows you can then change the resolution back to what you want.
