Question [Resolved] deleting config.sys and autoexec.bat after starting CD ROM in DOS

Hello all, can someone explain if it is really ok to delete these after following the instructions on bootdisk.com (very good). Have reinstalled win 98 but can't get the DLL files to make anything wor because of the DOS things.
As you can see I am no expert but would like to solve this.

Hya Peggy , welcome to PCHF.

As far as i know those files are not essential for windows 98 , so it should indeed be save to delete them.
