Default [Resolved] Installing CD-ROM Drivers, Memory Allocation Error

Hello, I am a Newbie on this forum and a novice computer user.

I would greatly appreciate any help on the following issue.

I have a computer with no operating system and I have a Windows 98 SE setup disk, unfortunately the computer needs the drivers to be able to read the CD-ROM drive. So I put in the floppy boot disk which contains a few utilities such as DOS and fdisk, this installs DOS and helps me start up the PC. After that I replace that floppy disk with a floppy disk containing the setup program and drivers for my MITSUMI CD-ROM drive. I type A:\SETUPD and the installation process begins, after installing it says COMPLETE but right after it a line reads "memory allocation error... cannot load COMMAND, system halted." What am I supposed to do now?

Please help.

Well, I simply downloaded a boot disk with a generic CD-ROM driver on it and it worked. I'm not sure why the other driver would not install before but I have installed Windows 98 SE now.
